AAT Level 2 Foundation Award in Accounting Software
What is the Foundation Accounting Software course?
This course will enable you to use a computerised system to enter accounting transactions, perform a reconciliation, correct errors and produce a range of reports. You will also be able to maintain the security of accounting information using passwords and backup routines.
Students must have completed a level 2 bookkeeping qualification or be competent in double entry bookkeeping.
- Set up accounting software
- Process sales and purchases transactions
- Process bank and cash transactions
- Perform period end routine tasks
- Produce reports
Teaching and learning
The course will include classroom tuition combined with practical exercises using Sage software.
Computer based formal assessments.
