Other College Facilities

The only student car park is at the rear of the college off Edward Road, GU34 2HU.  Daytime students whose course is 11 weeks or over in duration will need to purchase a parking permit through our Online Store, however, this does not guarantee a parking space.  Students in receipt of JSA, ESA, Income Support, Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit and are entitled to ‘Full Funding (Remission of Fees)’ or students attending free ‘Functional Skills’ courses are exempt from this payment.

A childcare facility is available at Alton College Nursery for all daytime sessions during term time.  You will need to book a place as demand is high.  Please ask for details.

There is a cafeteria at college that is open during the day.  During the evening a smaller selection of cold drinks and snacks are available to purchase from machines.

If we have to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances we will try to let you know as soon as we can.  It is important that you supply telephone numbers on your enrolment form to enable us to contact you. Please let us know immediately if your contact details change.
