Fees and Payments

All A Level two year programmes cost £9,000 per year. This includes tuition for all chosen subjects in addition to a programme of English Language. Books and other learning materials may be payable, depending on the courses chosen. Please note that this fee does NOT include examination fees, which may vary according to subject.

Accommodation

Accommodation for International Students is provided by local families in our Homestay Programme. Students will live in the heart of an English family within a short journey of the college. They become part of the family, sharing main meals with them and participating in family leisure activities.

Visas

Alton College is authorised to recruit students under the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) Tier 4 (General) Points Based System. All candidates must make their application for a Student Visa under the Tier 4 (General) category.

Entry Requirements

Students applying for an AS/A level programme must meet our entry requirements of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, to include Maths, or equivalent qualification if studied outside the UK.

Choosing the right course

International Students can apply for any Level 3 courses offered at Alton College. Most will be studying A and AS levels, which provide the best route to many of the best universities in the UK. All International Students will also be automatically be enrolled on an English Language programme to help them make the most of their stay here.

Student Watch opens career options

Thanks to Alton College teaming up with Hampshire Constabulary, 10 students have celebrated their new skills in a range of crime prevention techniques including registering valuables to a national database and advising fellow students on the dangers of drugs use.

The students completed the programme alongside Public Services qualifications.
