The Alton College sports department is celebrating success three times over as the rugby, football 1st team and mixed hockey teams are all at the top of their respective Hampshire Colleges league. The football 1st team have won seven of their eight matches, most recently beating Barton Peverill College in a 7-1 victory.

Green Week raises awareness of litter, recycling and our environment

Green week litter pickers

Alton College’s ‘Green Week’ saw students and staff doing their bit for the community and the environment last week. With a litter picking theme on Tuesday, students borrowed high visibility jackets and litter pickers from East Hants District Council and collected litter on the roads and pavements around the College, filling several bags.
