Alton College Music Department will hold their Easter concert in St Lawrence's Church, Alton on Thursday 28 March at 7:30pm. It is free with a retiring collection. The concert will showcase some of the College ensembles as well as solo items from students featuring music by Faure, Weill, Shostakovich and Sondheim.

Four Alton College Debating Teams competed in the Oxford Union regional round held at Guildford High School on February 26th. The round consisted of approximately 100 teams from across the south and London.

College alumnus Ollie West will return to the Wessex Arts Theatre to perform with his band in June as part of their UK-wide tour. Ollie is currently a student at the Royal Northern College of Music studying Popular Music Performance.

Over half term several Year 1 Duke of Edinburgh students taking their Gold award spent the weekend on Dartmoor practising their navigation skills in preparation for the their Gold expedition later this year in the Peak District.
