The College will receive £30,000 from the Alton College Foundation thanks to the benevolence of the Grace Atkinson Will Trust, a local charity dedicated to helping other charities and organisations locally and nationally. The money will go towards a new minibus to enable students to attend trips and sporting fixtures.

Exceptional student successes were celebrated at Alton College’s annual Outstanding Awards presentation event in December. The awards are given for a range of achievements from academic to friendship and leadership. The ceremony was held on campus and attended by the recipients and their parents, and were presented by Jane Machell, Principal, sponsors and governors.

At the UK final of the national SkillsShow in Birmingham last month, Jimmy Page (previously at PerinsSchool) took Gold and Tom Andrews (previously at The Petersfield School) came fourth and was awarded highly commended.
