Helping students while they learn
Students have a personal tutor who, in most cases, will also teach them, so they will build a relationship during the time they are at College. At least once a week students will meet for a Personal Learning & Development (PLD) session which will focus on one-to-one sessions about them and their studies and is supported by presentations and workshops. The tutor helps students settle into College life, to achieve their academic potential and help them to plan for their future.
In Partnership with Parents
We know that a close relationship between College, student and parents has a very positive effect on the student's peformance. The College holds regular consultation evenings, contacts parents if we cannot resolve problems satisfactorily with students directly, and encourages parents to contact us with concerns.
