What else goes on?

The Alton College Experience is the new programme for extra-curricular activities for students at Alton College. The programme has been specially designed to provide you with the opportunity to enhance your skills and personal qualities and to give you an edge when applying for university or employment. Our New College Day and flexible timetable allows all students to work on the ACE skills alongside their A level, BTEC/Cambridge Technical and GCSE courses.

We've got all sorts of activities, from Jazz Band to Table Tennis, Football to Bar Mock Trial. You don't have to do exams, you'll pick up loads of skills and it'll look great on your CV.

It's great to get involved in an enrichment activity because it gives you a chance to:

  • meet different people
  • widen your interests
  • develop your skills (teamwork, organising...)
  • put something extra on your CV

Have a look at what options are available to students in our Alton College Experience leaflet here.
