The majority of students at Alton College are just 16-18 years old but the tragedy of the Holocaust from 1933 to 1945 has not been forgotten.

Students were invited to attend the College’s Quiet Garden today to mark national Holocaust Memorial Day. The group, led by the Students’ Union, lit candles and spent their break taking the time to remember all those affected by the Holocaust....

The College music department have had some outstanding students pass through courses over the years and the class of 2012 is no exception. Our current second year students are achieving high results and receiving almost unconditional offers from the best higher education music courses in the country.

Rock School

For all you budding young rock musicians - our Rock School is starting on Tuesday 10th January. We are offering 3 weeks free if you sign up for the first half term. Rock School will be run by Alton College staff and students and offers bass, guitar, drums, keyboard and vocal lessons. You'll get experience playing in a band which could lead to a vocational qualification....
