We are looking for an inspirational teacher to join the vibrant team at Havant & South Downs College. As a qualified Lecturer in Geography, you will work as a member of a team, ensuring that learners receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success.  Applicants should possess an appropriate degree and have experience in teaching Geography to A level students. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. This is a great opportunity to pass on your skills and experience to others in a rewarding role.

The successful candidate will have a passion for Geography, excellence in teaching and learning and be a reflective practitioner who takes part in CPD.  It is preferred that you are experienced in tutoring, assessing, recording and tracking students to ensure that they make sufficient progress. HSDC is seeking a Junior IT Technician to work within the IT Support Team providing day-to-day IT support to staff and students at Alton College. Reporting to the Network Manager, and working under the supervision of existing IT Technicians, the post holder will be responsible for “owning” IT support requests from initiation through to their successful resolution. 

Whilst training and support will be provided to post holder, a good level of general IT literacy is expected and required, and ideally the post holder will have completed a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in an IT related discipline although this is not essential as training will be provided. In addition, the post holder will be able to communicate effectively, politely and clearly to staff and students. Some experience in a customer facing/customer service related role would be advantageous although not essential.
