Havant and South Downs College is seeking to appointment a Digital Marketing Officer who has experience in digital marketing and website management. Applicants will have the ability to develop and deliver information to a range of audiences using segmentation and data selection.

The ideal candidate will have experience of project management and using CRM software, with the ability to develop and deliver information to a range of audiences using segmentation and data selection. The individual will be flexible, self-motivated and have a proactive approach, with the ability to react quickly to changes in circumstances and the environment with innovation and initiative.

This post will involve producing, planning and carrying out the overall digital marketing strategy, with a view to strengthening the College’s digital offer and online marketing activity across a broad range of channels. You will also create a content strategy for all the digital platforms, schedule social media campaigns monitor/analyse and report on statistics regularly, manage and optimise the College website with a focus on SEO, strategic development, creative content, analytics and tracking. There will also be responsibility for driving our online presence forward through innovative content and relationship management with staff and external agencies.

Applicants must have a degree or relevant experience in Digital Marketing, Multi-media, e-Commerce or other relevant subject, and excellent IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Content Management Systems). A professional marketing qualification, e.g. CIM or IDM or Google, is desirable.

Havant and South Downs College is seeking to appoint a self-motivated and innovative individual as PR Communications & Content Executive across all 3 of our campuses (Alton, Havant and Waterlooville), who has the ability to develop and deliver information to a range of audiences.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of social media channels and the audiences for these, as well as strong administrative, time management, organisational and proof-reading skills. You will have a flexible and proactive approach, be able to react quickly to changes in circumstances and the environment and meet tight deadlines.

This post will involve generating positive publicity to create an excellent reputation for HSDC and Alton for both internal and external audiences, producing a range of written content for internal and external audiences, including copy for web, social media, publications, newspapers, newsletters and general marketing purposes. You will also be required to manage and develop relationships with the media, in addition to preparing and delivering crisis communications.

Applicants must be qualified to a degree level, relevant to Marketing, Communications, Events Management, PR or related. You will be required to travel to external locations.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of HR to join the People Services team at HSDC for a temporary period between October 2019 – 05 February 2020 due to maternity. You will be leading and working with a skilled and dedicated team of professionals, supporting the College to meet its objectives. You will have proven experience of managing change and building strong relations with trade union representatives. You will report to the Principal and provide reports and committee papers as required. Experience of working at a similar level would be advantageous.  

The College has over 900 staff across three campuses (Waterlooville, Havant & Alton) and you will be required to spend time at each campus on a weekly basis, ensuring that staff are at the centre of what we do. 

 

£42,436 per annum, fixed point salary
